I probably shouldn't have updated, but I really wanted Wedding Stories to work. Now I'm afraid to test it.

Does actually put a crimp in one of my future story ideas... maybe they'll fix it by the time I get to it.

I'm a bit disappointed they don't appear to have mentioned any of the other things they broke with the last patch. I'll wait and see if there turn out to be any mod impacts, but I'm guessing/hoping not.

When I read the messages in Answers HQ, unfortunately it also seems to affect festivals in other worlds.

Mischief managed. - Updates successful - Full game repair was done as well - Reshade functioning OK - All 7 game instances loaded fine - No mods incompatible with the new patch - All mods and CC seems to be OK.

OK... New wrinkle Today I learned... that error code EC:204 means my "license for the game has expired". This is not as bad as one might think as all it seems to do is prevent a chap from playing in offline mode. I can play the game fine online - everything works just fine. But even after playing online, switching to offline mode brings me back to the "unclean" state of playing without a license. I can feel the judgement through the computer screen and the wagging finger of EA telling me I've been a very naughty boy... This will certainly put a crimp in my gameplay at the next patch. Perhaps if I play online for awhile and view enough advertisements for stuff, EA may allow me to play in peace again for a short time... Hope springs eternal.

Caerfinon, well that's annoying. I've seen people talking about this before. I wonder if it's a bug related to the way they've tried event rewards to our EA accounts.

luciusstorm it could be anything really... between a simple unintended consequence and an Orwellian conspiracy to channel human behaviour there are many possibilities.

It happened last year as well. It got fixed. Here is the thread from last time. But you should start a new thread (or check if there is already a new one started). Hopefully they can get it fixed quickly.
