Re: the page numbers. I like having them in both locations. This set-up is perfect.

Trying again in the Preview and BBCode tabs, but using the S button. Looks like I have to stay in the BBCode tab to use this. Let's see what happens if I switch back to Preview to write the stuff after the spoiler.
I will make another paragraph too. This is it.
Writing stuff outside the spoiler now. Okay. Looks like that worked.

Hi SnuffyBucket Do you know if you can make images embedded in the text on the Forum? I just shared a picture and I think it looks a little too dominant.

Hi SnuffyBucket Do you know if you can make images embedded in the text on the Forum? I just shared a picture and I think it looks a little too dominant. You can achieve something like that by inserting a table (using the table button) and selecting two columns and one row. Then you can have picture on one side and text on the other, like this: | Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text
Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text
Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text
Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text
Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text Lots of text |

Hmm! I have to try that.
By the way. Lilith is really beautiful with that hair, but I've probably said that before 🥰

It's been a long afternoon, but here is a handy guide to using the forum features, including how to use the spoiler and image resizing options, how to add fancy signatures and a whole load of other stuff. It's pinned on the forum rules and announcements board. You can bookmark it for easy reference. I'm oddly thirsty now. 🍹🍍

| Trying it out.
Hmmm.... I don't see any way to resize the two columns except by typing more words into the column with the text it it.
Okay. I guess just holding down the space bar works. Let's see if it stays that way when I post it.

I'm very sure font size used to be working in the "post quick reply" option (it flagged the text you had selected to to be a certain size, and you'd see the font size correctly displayed once you posted it). But now it is not working. It just has a tiny blank drop down box with nothing in it.

SnuffyBucket You've made a huge effort and I'd say you deserve whatever drink you're craving now 🥰

GlacierSnow yeah the tables are pretty rudimentary but thought I'd leave them as an option anyway, always nice to have options. 😁 Hm. Yes, font size is definitely broken. The quick reply box by default doesn't allow editing buttons, so I've likely borked the code somehow trying to defy the site structure. It doesn't appear to be a simple fix so I've removed it (and its neighbouring font style dropdown) from the quick reply view for now. Both are still accessible in the full reply views if you want your size 7, bright pink comic sans. 😉

SnuffyBucket That's too bad. I noticed we can start typing our post in quick mode and then switch to preview mode by hitting the reply button without losing what we wrote, so I'm going to test a work around here. This was typed in quick mode
Seems like that works.
I actually like composing posts that have a lot of images in quick mode first because while I'm still writing, the images are distracting to me. I'm the kind of writer who scrolls up and down through what I've written and rearranges and changes stuff as I am writing, so I liked writing while still in quick mode if I had images (so they would just show as text until I was done). But for my blueprint build entry slideshow thread, I also need the larger font for each entry title. But this will work. I'll create the whole post, including linking images in quick reply view, and then switch to preview to make the title larger once I'm done.
I also like the quick reply view for replying to other people because the post I am replying to is usually close to the bottom of the page, and the quick reply text box is also at the bottom, so there's less scrolling up and down as I repeatedly refer to their post while I'm writing because I have a terrible short term memory apparently. 😆 So it was nice to have all the same tools available. But should I ever need that size 7 bright pink comic sans for a reply, I can do the same workaround of going into preview once I'm done writing.

I'm testing the above workaround just to make sure that nothing weird happens when the post also includes an image. This sentence is for Snuffy.
[/url][/center][/div]<--- Hmmm... does that show when I post?
EDIT ----- Yup. It does.

What happens when an image is included in a quick reply post, which is then switched to preview mode, if you delete the extraneous coding text before posting? Testing.
Now in preview mode. There was coding like this:
[/url][/center][/div]
but I deleted it. The image is still showing in preview. Let's see what happens when I post it.
EDIT---- Looks fine. So that "coding" wasn't doing anything. It's just a glitch that happens when you switch from quick reply view to preview while images are in the post. You can safely delete it.

New suggestion:
If it's possible to still add categories, I think it would be nice to have a sub-section in the "creative corner" for screenshots and gameplay update threads. Various types of screenshot threads are the main thing I liked to participate in on the old forum (threads like "Screenshot lovers" and "I still love scenery" and others). Often there is some serious creativity going on in the screenshots themselves. And the "what happened in your game today?" type of threads often attracted simmers with some great stories to tell or show, but who don't consider themselves "writers".
These type of threads could go in the general discussion, of course, but I think it would feel more inviting to have a dedicated space for them. I want to start a couple different themed screenshot threads, but haven't yet, because I'm not sure where to put them.

I'll add a 'screenshots' board under creative.
