 Hello, everyone! This is the first chapter of Hansel and Gretel. I am currently working on Chapter 2 - and trying to re-learn WordPress. So, if the blog looks like a construction zone, it is because it IS a construction zone. Ooo! Just read the first chapter. This is very well done. I like the child POV here from Hansel. Looking forward to more. Saw your note at the bottom of the last post. If you are okay with mods, UI Cheats Extension by weerbesu makes it very easy to change seasons or weather. |

I already use MC Command Center and the occasional CC piece, so mods are fine. That is great news. I was thinking that I was going to have to begin a new game in a different season. I'm also glad that you like Hansel. I've got to somehow balance his vulnerability (from being a child) with his strengths (finding a way out of a horrible situation). Now, to check out that mod! |

 Hello, everyone! A question, then a mini-update. This past week, I have been on a mid-semester break. I know you guys have lots of patience; my question is about your preferred length of chapters, especially when the chapter is comic-style. I've been thinking that about 12-15 pages per chapter is a good length. But, what are your thoughts? Well, back to searching for a gingerbread house. I may just have to make my own. |

Ohhhh I love the screenshots so much, and I really like the comic book type layout for the story as well! I love them coming back to the house like 'LOL, great prank!' and Hilda just being like 'And we would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids' : P I wonder what the bear dream means, hmmm ...
I think your chapter length is fine! I personally would say don't worry about chapter length, and just end the chapter when it feels right to story-wise ^u^ Really like this so far! |

I think your chapter length is fine! I personally would say don't worry about chapter length, and just end the chapter when it feels right to story-wise ^u^ Really like this so far! Thank you very much! The bear thing was one of the curveballs (or should I say gifts?) that the game gave me. In the deep, dark forest, in the middle of the night, a man in a bear costume walks by. It was weird for real life, but not too weird for a dream sequence. Anyway, I think I'd better stop talking before I give the entire thing away.  |

Great chapter!
I love the little hints of humor (like the "prank" comment, and the bear dream) in what is otherwise a pretty dark story. I'm really enjoying this. It's really well done.
I think the length of your chapters is fine. Pictures are loading quickly on my connection, and the endings always leave me excited for the next installment. Longer would also be fine if you have more to say, but I think you're breaking things up in a natural and well designed way as it is.

Hello everyone! I am currently waiting for my game to break to update. I have not had as much time so far this week due to school and household responsibilities. (After all, if I don't wash my clothes and clean up after myself, who will?) I am going to set a tentative goal of another chapter by Friday.  |

This is awesome! I love SimLit with words directly on the pictures. I feel it gives the screenshots more texture, and that it's doing things with the medium that text only stories can't. Excited to see where this SimLit retelling of Hansel and Gretel leads, and how close it is to/deviates from the original fairy tale! The bear calling Hansel an imbecile made me cackle  Also. Hilda is 200000% a wicked witch, and they should RUN |

New Chapter! Unnecessary Life Update This one took a bit longer - I decided that I would not work on my story until after I had read half of the book I need to read for class. Well, I got halfway through the book this morning.. Now, the new Hansel and Gretel chapter is up - and I've got another 160 pages to read.
