I feel inspired to share some other useful links that don't relate to forums or stories. First and foremost, Crinrictt's Sims4 Help Blog. This is where I find all the news regarding the Sims4 game and here I have learned how to keep my game smooth and free of the errors that you can prevent yourself. Especially when there are new game updates, there are important steps to follow that I won't repeat here. The next link refers to a video by Rosannatxt - How to keep your giant mods folder manageable. The method she uses to name all the Mods and CC has changed the world for me. It is fairly easy to keep track of the mods folder after this. Regarding questions about games, I mostly use these two help pages: The Sims Wiki and Carl's Sims4 SiteFeel free to add others Unfortunately, I am no longer up to date regarding Sims3 help blogs. I'm sure others can handle these better.

Hello someone hinted they need help with sims 3 links. Of course - sims wiki as well. Wanting to know the background of a townie before I give them a role? Need to know what comes with what EP? Looking for the name of that one lot in Hidden Springs during writing and I don't have the game open? There I go The steam performance guide the sims 3 modding community is still alive & well, with new performance-enhancing mods still coming out: this guide basically shows the most recent things as of 2024 on how to make the game run well. Similarly, there is the FAQ and wikia of TS3 subreddit (the big one)
These are the big things off the top of my head - there are also plenty of youtube videos on "how to play TS3 in 2024" and similar, so a quick google search will suffice. Because the game doesn't get new EA-made content or patches anymore, the old game content-itself info from 10 years ago is of course all still relevant.

Let me add the TS4 Bug Reports section at answers.ea.com answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-BugsAlways the first place to go to find out what's broken, what's fixed, and what is still a mystery And it's the only place that the developers routinely visit and read and check the me-too counts on bugs. They don't post often but they read everything. So if you want a dev to know about a bug you're having, that's where to put it There's also the TS4 discord which usually has a few people chatting on it.
