Well, let's give this a try shall we... cross posting from the EA Sims forums, Creative Corner... If you aren't familiar with me and my stories, Wyrd Girls is my long running SimLit series, following the life of young witch Miranda Silveroak-Goth, daughter of Cassandra Goth, and her friends and family. The stories are posted on my blog - Wyrd Girls Quick content warning: Wyrd Girls contains mature themes and subject matter and one of my stories (so far) - Bad Moon Rising - does contain post-werewolf-transformation-related nudity. View from the Mountain is a short story, which falls between the fifth and upcoming sixth "books" of the Wyrd Tales series. View from the Mountain

View from the Mountain, part 2 is now up. "Girlfriend, bring it in here!" Aadi Bheeda, a broad smile on their round face, opened their arms to give Miranda a big hug. "How are my little M&M's?"

Oh, the end of life is not a cheerful thing to think about. Even when it takes place in shared love 🙁

Oh, the end of life is not a cheerful thing to think about. Even when it takes place in shared love 🙁 It is sad. I remember my grandmother was extremely annoyed that she outlived my grandfather by almost a decade. She wanted to go and be with him again... as, I believe, she ultimately has. It somewhat inspired me for Mariah's heartbreak at the knowledge that the love of her life essentially can't follow her in the Netherworld... putting her in a confusing emotional position. Mariah's insecurities and emotional turmoils are a big part of her character arc. She's got issues. She's working on them.

Thank you. It was one of those things that I loved writing and was really proud of... so it's a pleasant surprise when other people seem to enjoy it as much as I do.
