MonaSolstraale , hehe, I only wanted to make sure. GlacierSnow , happened in my game now.. Babs slept early, she has the trait from pack, Geoffrey came later and they slept like this all night. G only scratched his beard time to time and B sleepgiggled, but other than this it was cuddling.

ellupelluellu Cute! Since this seems to have become the Let's talk about Lovestruck thread, has anyone seen a mod that completely disables the "death by broken heart"? I've been searching, but I haven't found one so far. Just wondering if I might be missing it by not using the right search terms. I don't want that death at all. But especially with the glitch that seems to be making it happen even when a sim is in a happy relationship, it has me worried. Since I don't even want that death in the first place, I'm looking for a way to just turn it off.

pacer1965 I only have one mod (to remove the shopping cart), so my experience is based on an almost vanilla game.

GlacierSnow I once had a Mod to avoid emotional deaths (laughter, hysteria ect.) It hasn't been updated in a while and I think MCCC is doing it for me now. If you use MCCC I can take a closer look at my settings. Edit: I found this setting for MCCC. I don't know if death by heartbreak is an emotional type of death, but it should be. I'll check it out in my test game. MCCC settings: Click on a computer. Click MC Command Center. Click MC Tuner. Click Change Interaction Behavior. Click Allow Emotional Deaths. Click Disabled.

I have all emotional deaths turned of from MCCC for so long I have had the mod (from beginning) , and have not seen any death by broken heart, even from a sim with actual broken heart. So I would assume it falls to that section too... but cannot be sure, of course.

ellupelluellu and MonaSolstraale Thank you! I do have MCCC but hadn't realized that it can disable emotional deaths. I've been using one of the other old mods for that (which has been working even though it's old). But I think I'll ditch the old mod now and use MCCC to disable them. It sounds like (from Ellu's observations) that it may also be updated to include the heartbreak death. If so, that's perfect. From comments in the bug report that I mentioned above, it sounds like the glitch making sims die of broken heart when they are perfectly happy in their relationships may happen most with sims who have multiple "unofficial" relationships (not married, engaged, or officially "partners") even if their romantic boundaries make them not jealous of their partners' partners. This is particularly a problem for one of my households which is a polyamorous quad (now made easier via the new romantic boundaries options). I can't make all of their relationships with each other "official", so I am most worried about them regarding that glitch. Do either of you have sims who are romantically involved but not officially a couple (haven't done the "ask to be partner" interaction)?

I have, many of my main save couples are only starting their journey together and aren't anyway near being official. But I have not had the glitch at all. It may be because of the emotional deaths are turned of from MCCC. I know for 110% fact, that I do not have any other mod even related to death types. And I am pretty sure the new death is already included in MCCC, after all it gets updated very fast usually.

I love that instead of dates, you can set up a gathering between friends where you plan some goals or things to do together. Here, the example is playing games and drinking bar drinks, in addition to friendly conversation. It makes good sense.

Unfortunately I will have to leave buying it for a while as I've read a few console players are having trouble with loading the game when they installed it
