I totally understand, I refused to patch and install any pack until my Villa Catarina was finished. I did not want to risk the ending as I knew what mods I had to use.
In pics Bob is holding Eliza, but that depends on who asks/suggests the cuddle at first place. As it is option in bed itself, it's bit different than the mod or how it was at sims2 , for example. I personally am glad that not all couples do it everytime, like in ts2 mornings... just because, imo , there are some couples, to who this simply does not fit. Like Lily and Victor, for example.
Or other situations in life when the cuddle simply should not be there at all.

ellupelluellu I love those cuddle in bed animations too. Today I came across a variant I hadn't experienced in my game before. My tired sim went to bed early before her partner got home from work. She was fast asleep when he joined her, but still they autonomously moved over to each other to fall back asleep in each other's arms! It was so sweet! I'm really enjoying the spontaneous romantic interactions from this pack. Also, I have to say that while there are couples everywhere, it hasn't bothered me so far. Maybe that will change in future, but I'm still finding plenty of singles, teens and kids at parks etc.

MonaSolstraale I think the animation I described might have something to do with the fact that one of those sims had the romantic trait. I’m not certain, but I wonder if it was connected to that.

Well, I bought and downloaded Lovestruck now. I'm too tired to do further testing in the game, but so far it's running without problems with all my mods. This adorableness, from my test family, daydreams during class about love.  |

It may also be dependent on the relationship dynamic of the sims. My sims have a steamy relationship, which explains why they’re forever cuddling in bed and doing other flirty interactions autonomously. I haven’t played with other relationship dynamics, but I’d expect those to look different in how the sims behave towards each other. |

I definitely hope that the relationship dynamics settings actually do affect their autonomous behavior. That's one of the main things I'm interested in playing with. |

GlacierSnow There seem to be quite a few settings for changing relationship types. I have to look into that further. When I opened my test game today one of my Sims had gone into labor. That was the first challenge. When I use PandaSama's birth mod it takes quite a few hours in the sims world. One thing I noticed was that the woman in labor and her partner interrupted several times to stargaze on a bench outside the hospital. It can happen though, it's more of a Mod issue than linked to the game. I've sent one of my Sims on a date with a guy found in Cupids Corner. It was really a bad date as he was not into women 😂 Unfortunately, I don't have time to investigate more now, as I'm going to a cafe with a friend. However, my first impression is not one of regret 😊

Oh, so unfortunately you're blocked from using mods, right? I have installed all the mods ellupelluellu recommended so my game is not completely basic. However, I will say that I haven't had any serious errors yet. The fact that you can choose a guy in the Cupid's Corner app that is not for women, I don't think is an error. It resulted in a bad date and it was just fun. It was Eva Capricciosa who was on the date, so she quickly found another hot replacement in Manuel Aguilar. |
