I was vastly inspired when reading the decades challenge, and as a history teacher, I could not stop myself from giving it a try. So I created the Whittaker Saga on the old forum, and then again tried to migrate it to the new forum. As the latter is horrible for stories, I then moved the entire saga to a blog of its own, where I now update the story regularly. I don't have the intention to repost the entire story here, but since I want to support this better, new, user-friendly forum, decided to post my story here as well as on the official forum. The start of the story, following Abigail the teacher and her longing for married life, you'll find here (chronological order of posts in the left sideline). The newest chapter you'll find in a comment below. Feel free to ask questions, comment, have lots of opinions. The Whittaker Saga Blog

Hi jeslet I am not yet familiar with your Story. However, I would like to take this opportunity to say welcome to our little Sims community. I hope you will find yourself comfortable here. 😊🙏

Hi jeslet! I thought your avatar looked familiar, and then I saw your note that you were JAL on the old forums! So that's why. Welcome! Your story looks intriguing. I haven't started it yet, but I've bookmarked the site to add to my simlit reading rotations. Does the story start with the "1890s: Starting out in a new town" chapter?

GlacierSnow Thank you for the welcome! And yes I was JAL, I thought about going back to that, but since I'm Jeslet40 in the gallery and the other forum I figured I might as well be that here too (without the 40). As for the story I would start with the set up (which is pinned to the start of the blog), to get to know Abigail, but then yes, the first chapter is "1890s: Starting out in a new town." In the left menu you have all the chapters chronologically, so it's easy to follow even if you're just getting started. I hope you will like the story! MonaSolstraale Thank you for the warm welcome, and for the invitation here. I too hope that I will be comfortable here and that the forums are a great success.

Trust me, gang, The Whittaker Saga is one of the best decades challenge stories I've read and it's my favourite format of both game and Simlit.
