On the subject of dyslexia, I had a childhood friend who was dyslexic. He wasn't great at reading (a common trait) and was great at math (also common). However, the most difficult trait he had was that he couldn't read social cues. He couldn't see people's facial expressions clearly, so he couldn't easily tell how the person he was talking to was feeling. This led to him annoying a lot of people, and a couple of instances of him getting beaten up by other kids (because kids are jerks).
He was a great friend, one of the smartest and nicest guys I knew. Lost track of him over the years. Anyway, thought I'd share that experience, for whatever it's worth.
Hm! Hadn't come across that one in my research, though admittedly it was done while so sleep deprived that I was mildly hallucinating. Thanks for the insight, I'll be looking round the web for more of it!
