1.5. I wonder how much longer I'll keep this pace, even if this one is a lot shorter and more scattered. I lost quite a few days trying to get Cleo- er, Allegra- to show up on Cupid's Corner for the screenshot (and no, the game does not recognize the two as related yet, so it can't be that. To be clear, obviously I wasn't using CuCor for its intended purpose in or out of universe, just having Ari cover all bases). I even went to the save file I got the prologue pictures in and spent a few in game days just camping for reloads. Eventually I just gave up and went this route instead. I think, for future story reasons, this actually worked out for the best.

Zeph no need to worry about maintaining a fast pace. If you have to, do what is slow and manageable. SimLit is like a walking marathon, not a sprint. -> Me feeling guilty for not having another chapter of my story yet and also feeling too overwhelmed to write. Oh my goodness, she found her!

Zeph, I'm like three chapters behind and too tired today to get caught up. Maybe I'll get some sleep eventually... Anyway, I just wanted to say, with the whole writing surge thing... I do that. I can write several chapters in a sitting. So, I put myself on a schedule. I post once or twice a week, as long as I have a backlog of chapters. That way, I can have a writing surge and then if I struggle with writers bloc for a few weeks, I can keep posting stuff. It works for me.

Probably not a great habit to have, but I'm not gonna break it anytime soon, because 1.6 is out!(I may have forgotten to take very many screenshots. And I may now be long past this point in the file and unable to get any more. Oopsie.)

Ooh I like this! Ariana has ended up in Strangerville, huh? I've never played the Strangerville story but it looks pretty fun. It'll be interesting to see how Ariana navigates the weirdness as someone who isn't human. I wonder if the Cleo mystery is related to Strangerville in any way?

As I've said on the forum before, SV was the first pack I got and I got it because of someone who was once a close friend, so it's pretty sentimental to me. Revisiting it in a Lit has been (I'm almost ten chapters ahead of what's been published by now) extremely fun! Brings me back to the days where I didn't even know what Sims mods were and I was just exploring around. As a fun little trivia, I was going to save it for a future generation... but then I remembered I'd miss out on a certain premade I really love if I did. If you look around the forum, I'm sure you can guess who! Finally, one spoiler: In my first file, a townie generated who stuck with me so much that I recreated her here. You'll see her soon...

1.8! Yeah, Sheena's that townie. She spawned in years ago as a curio stand proprietor who looked so much like a genderbent Erwin that I decided they were twins.

Time for 1.9! More trivia because you guys know how I love to yap: I had to change the last part last night/this extremely early morning to acknowledge that Divergent Sims gave her dyslexia. I don't have the disorder and fear I'll mess up writing it, which is exactly why I was hesitant for a long time to get Divergent Sims, but hey, I can trust you people to politely inform me whe I get something wrong rather than tearing me a new one.

Zeph, well things are getting interesting I guess if you're a mermaid running away, Strangerville is about as away as you can get. Still, watch those glowing red plants. I'm curious to see where this goes.
On the subject of dyslexia, I had a childhood friend who was dyslexic. He wasn't great at reading (a common trait) and was great at math (also common). However, the most difficult trait he had was that he couldn't read social cues. He couldn't see people's facial expressions clearly, so he couldn't easily tell how the person he was talking to was feeling. This led to him annoying a lot of people, and a couple of instances of him getting beaten up by other kids (because kids are jerks).
He was a great friend, one of the smartest and nicest guys I knew. Lost track of him over the years. Anyway, thought I'd share that experience, for whatever it's worth.
