Hi! It's a little mad to think that I first wrote a post like this in March 2023 and now here we are, August 2024, and not only is it still going but my game hasn't broken either? Anyway, let's dive in.

The Evergreen Legacy is a story told with The Sims 3 based around a challenge I wrote called the Sims Through The Ages legacy challenge. In this challenge every generation is a pack, with Generation 1 being base game, so I needed something to make the game interesting to me and what's more interesting than the lore of Sunset Valley and its founding families?
Generation I: Aurora Evergreen
Aurora Evergreen moved to Sunset Valley on her 18th birthday by order of her mother. She was reared with one goal in mind: The Mission. Follow her story as she infiltrates the media and the great families of Sunset Valley with a view to exposing the scandal that exiled her family. Will she reclaim her family’s name and the wealth they are owed? Or will she unearth secrets that put her at odds with the very people who set her on this path?

Chapter Summary
Generation II: Blair Evergreen
After the fateful revelations of Aurora's investigation, the decision to remain in Sunset Valley was not entirely a choice. It is time for her daughter to pick up their newfound responsibility and ensure the Evergreens keep their word. On her journey to bring new cultures to Sunset Valley, Blair will find love and face tragedy. Can she finally put the story of Reginald Evergreen and the shadow it has cast over her family to bed? Or will she unravel brand new mysteries that will consume the Evergreen family for generations to come?
Generation III: Francesca Evergreen
Following the eventful excursions of Blair, Cece and Dixon around the world and the mind-boggling revelations of their trips, Blair's eldest daughter takes on the family mantle. As Francesca works to provide employment in new industries for the people of the Valley and her siblings forge their own paths, she will face challenges and unexpected opposition. Can she bring her family together in the midst of loss and turmoil to face those who would see the Evergreens fall? Or will scandal and conspiracy taint their name beyond repair?
Generation IV: Hattie Evergreen
In the wake of the explosive expansion of Sunset Valley, Francesca's eldest daughter Hattie becomes the town's newest Caretaker. While she tries to navigate the birth of a nightlife and new artistic pursuits in the Valley, Hattie will quickly learn that no amount of fame or fortune can protect you from a broken heart. Will Hattie and her siblings be able to bring about a new age for their sleepy town? Or will dark forces divide and conquer this Great Family once and for all?
Generation V: Kressida Evergreen
Despite being the only child of Hattie, and therefore her only option, Kressida Evergreen is more ready than ever to take on the role as Caretaker of Sunset Valley and heir to The Evergreen Legacy. A festive trip to Snowflake Days past, present and future gives Kressida fair warning of what is to come as she embarks on her life's mission of developing her townspeople's quality of life from cradle to grave. Can she build her dream family and community? Or will her comfort only pave the way for her children's pain?
Generation VI: Persephone Evergreen
The fifth of Kressida's ten children, Persephone takes the mantle and becomes the latest Caretaker of Sunset Valley. Surrounded by magic since the day she was born, it is unsurprising when she is plagued by mystical dreams and tales of curses and mythical beasts. As she works to attract and nurture new flora and fauna to her town, Persephone will find the key to breaking a centuries-old curse. Can she unite the Great Families to save their town? Or will she have to prepare her child to go it alone?
Generation VII: Winnie Evergreen
After the shocking revelations of Persephone's time as Caretaker, her only daughter Winnie takes the reins. Raised with the knowledge that her child will be the one to break the fateful curse on Sunset Valley, she must close ranks and fulfill the quest her mother started. Can she deliver on her obligation to create a worldwide reputation and attract tourists by realising her dream of becoming a Master Acrobat? Or will the demands of those around her mean she loses out on what her heart truly desires?
Generation VIII: Andromeda Evergreen
The first Witch of the Evergreen bloodline since Reginald married Celia Witton, Andromeda is the next heir and Caretaker of Sunset Valley. When her obligation of offering homes to non-human communities ignites a dangerous feud with the everlasting Goth dynasty, it is a race against the clock for Andromeda to break the curse that entraps her home and keeps an old foe at bay. Will returning Frida and Victoria Goth to their home bring about a peaceful resolution for all? Or will Andromeda pay the ultimate price for promises made by her ancestors?
Generation IX: Quinn Evergreen
In the wake of the tragic events on All Hallow's Eve, Quinn must assume the role as Caretaker and heir to the Evergreen Legacy. Before she can accept her new title and the task that comes with it, she must decide whether her traitorous new house guests are worthy of redemption, and resurrection. Will she honour her mother's memory by burying the hatchet and pursuing her own dreams? Or will Quinn's version of resolution mark the end of The Evergreen Legacy for once and for all?

every generation is a new pack added in, in chronological order. Thank you so much that means a lot, this was exactly my thinking. I was like 'I need a reason for this poor girl to be on an empty plot of land in a new town and for random stuff to happen every generation 😂'.
