ellupelluellu, maybe just a little newt. I just don't have it in me to be dramatic all the time. arieltriffic, I confess I had heard that D&D joke somewhere before, but it really seemed fitting. MonaSolstraale, glad I can pull off the occasional surprise, especially with this story. it just seemed like the right thing to do, for Molly to volunteer. She's not a sidekick anymore. She's the hero and this a hero moment.

Yknow, StrangerVille as a pack is really important to me, because it's the reason I got Sims, back when the pack was new. A former best friend of mine fell in love with Erwin basically immediately (and never fell out of it for as long as I knew them), so I decided to splurge a bit so I could have something to talk to them about, and well... the rest is history. I miss that friend. I hope they're doing well. Not sure why I brought this up. I guess it'd be dope if I put SV in my upcoming story somewhere, to celebrate this emotional attachment- never really had the nerve to retell that story for some reason, but hey, if you can do it, so can I! So, I guess thanks for the encouragement. I'm having fun reading!

Zeph, I had a lot more fun than I expected to with Strangerville. I found I really enjoyed the way they did the adventure within the structure of the Sims. I had avoided reading other's Strangerville stories while I worked on mine own but that I'm as good as done, I guess I can start. If you decided to write up yours, I'll see about giving it a read. I'm glad you're enjoying reading mine and that it's inspired you in some small way.

What an interesting twist to end on and a great cliffhanger! π
You really have to go easy with the newt. It's an overpowering flavor. π

danirose, newt's an acquired taste. Somewhere, I saw a mod that inserts Occult Cooking recipes, including things like Newt Soup... which would give Spellcasters positive buffs and everyone else negative buffs. I never did download it, but clearly it has stuck in my mind. I may need to look for it when the dust clears on Life & Death.

luciusstorm I guess Molly feels done with heroics for a while.

arieltriffic Really, I don't think Molly has ever considered herself a Hero. She'd say she just does what she needs to do to fix things. A reply which would no doubt make Lucius smile knowingly and Christie roll her eyes.

I really like how you included her dream. Very nice. Christies character is great, scenes with her and huntress are enjoyable π Her "So, I forgive you" and bringing up that Dad barfed twice ar my favorite linesπ Molly coming to realization they're the guys was great too πGlad they're all cured, good luck with the fight π

blueseawaves, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It seemed like a good way to handle Molly's situation. I had a lot of fun writing this chapter. It's got lots of good character moments. I would have enjoyed doing more with Christie and Huntress, but between the limitations of the game and way the main storyline played out, I just couldn't pull it off.
Molly was just desperately hoping that someone else, anyone else, was going to show up and save the day.

Children and animals see everything. You did a great job of capturing what sets the two apart. The gift of speech that allows children to knock the adults down a notch or two with a single comment.π In Christie's case several notches with one good comeback after another.

ellupelluellu, glad to provide a smile. danirose, you can always count on your kids to keep you humble. Especially when your kid can talk to magic cats.
